Versions 1.3.0 of Musket is now available.
We’ve skipped ahead to the next version number with no patch releases because this version includes a fairly significant extension to the accessible menu system.
You can now implement “mega menu” style menus on primary or secondary nav simply by adding some classes to the menu items in the WordPress admin. By default Musket will support up to 10 menu items with mega menu dropdowns and up to 4 columns within each of those dropdowns. However, the code is really easy to extend to add support for more dropdowns or more columns should you need them.
The mega menus are still fully accessible and keyboard navigable.
There’s a handy new How To that explains how to enable mega menus.
Musket 1.3.0 also now includes the Omega Reset mixin for better control of your columns at multiple breakpoints. You can read more about it from the original author Josh Fry.
